happy wednesday!
as mentioned, i had a birthday this week! monday, to be more precise… however the fun began on saturday! my friends surprised me with a birthday brunch at a new restaurant called terrace cafe. yummmm. this my friends is a place to visit! i felt so loved by my friends :) just one more reminder of how thankful i am that we moved to charlotte, and how grateful i am that God blessed me with some wonderful women!
later that day… well it just so happened to be cinco de mayo… which i, for whatever reason, continue to type ‘mardi gras’ instead, weird… but anyway! we went out for some margaritas, followed by live music on the green & as usual, yoforia! fun for all!
MOST importantly though, saturday, may 5th was my mimi’s 75th birthday!!! 3/4 of a century… ‘that’s pretty impressive’ says my mimi, and i agree! she is a very special lady & i love her so so so so sooooooooooo much!
